About the Board:

Dr. Thomas Leecost is a past President of the Virginia Board of Medicine and the Virginia Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Roy Corbin has been complaint officer of the State of Maine Board of Podiatric Medicine since 1995. Dr. Michael LaPan is President of the Montana Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Kirk Contento has been in practice for 26 years and is a member of the Illinois State Podiatric Licensing Board. He is also a Past President of the Illinois Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Neil L. Horsley is an assistant professor of the Department of Podiatric Biomechanics and Orthopedic Diseases at the Dr. William M. Scholl, College of Podiatric Medicine at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. He was also recently reappointed to a three year term on the Illinois State Podiatric Licensing Board.

Larry Shane, Executive Director of the FPMB since 1994 is a recipient of the American Podiatric Medical Association Distinguished Service Award (the national association’s highest honor) for his over 25 years of service to podiatry on a local, regional and national level. Mr. Shane has handled 12 different podiatry organizations over the last 32 years.
