Shane Boynton Beach, Florida About the Board: Dr. Roy Corbin has been complaint officer of the State of Maine Board of Podiatric Medicine since 1995. Dr. Thomas Leecost has been President of the Virginia Board of Medicine and a Past President of the Virginia Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Michael LaPan is President of the Montana Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Kenneth Phillips is a Past President of the California Board of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Leonard Simmons has served two terms as President of the FPMB and was a Past President of the National Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners. Dr. David M. Bernstein is chair of the Washington State Department of Health, Podiatric Medical Board. He is currently in his second six-year term appointed by the Governor. Larry Shane, Executive Director of the FPMB since 1994, is a recipient of the American Podiatric Medical Association Distinguished Service Award (the national association’s highest honor) for his over 25 years of service to podiatry on a local, regional and national level. He has handled 12 different podiatry organizations over the last two and a half decades.
